Legal, ethical & copyright
Plain English first. This preview is not the legal acceptance authority. For invited private beta, the versioned Private Beta Terms/EULA, NDA and Beta Privacy Notice presented by the controlled beta access gate are the beta acceptance documents. Before any public trial or paid checkout, the final contract and privacy documents must identify the trader/controller correctly, include the required contact and pre-contract information, be professionally reviewed, and be provided in a durable form where the law requires it.
Your controlRigWave should advise, not silently take over
Supported changes to system, OBS, audio or routing require your approval. RigWave should show what it wants to change, why and what result to expect. If there is no measured reason to change something, the right answer can be “No change recommended”.
Your dataLocal by default, deliberate sharing
Audio analysis and setup data stay local by default. Diagnostic reports are customer-triggered and previewable. Passwords, stream keys and access tokens should not be included in normal diagnostic logs.
Read Privacy · Read Data RightsYour music & contentOwnership stays with you
You keep ownership of your music, recordings, settings, logs and content. RigWave does not give you copyright permission for music, images, chat messages or platform content. You remain responsible for the rights and licences needed for what you stream or share.
RigWave copyright & IPSoftware and protected methods remain protected
RigWave software, source code, brand, artwork, tuning logic, scoring, proprietary methods and protected workflows remain RigWave Streaming Systems / Gary Woodward intellectual property, except for third-party and open-source components governed by their own licences and any rights the law does not allow us to restrict.
Third-party productsCompatibility is not endorsement
Names such as Windows, OBS, DJ software, streaming platforms and hardware brands belong to their owners. RigWave may name them to explain compatibility. That does not mean the owner sponsors, approves or partners with RigWave.
Third-party noticesBuying, renewing & cancellingPrices and renewal behaviour are shown before payment
Four launch choices are prepared for launch, but public checkout is still locked: Standard Yearly (£99 for 12 months, no automatic renewal), Standard Monthly (£11.99/month, auto-renewing until cancelled), Founder Yearly (£79 for the first 12 months, no automatic annual renewal) and Founder Monthly (£8.99/month for the first 12 paid months, then £11.99/month, auto-renewing until cancelled). Founder places are shared across both Founder choices. Statutory consumer rights are not removed. Any approved checkout must show the exact price, renewal behaviour, digital-supply consent, cancellation and refund wording before payment and confirm the contract in a form the customer can keep.
Pre-launch legal gate: where a cancellation right exists, the final customer pack must include the required standard cancellation form. The recurring Monthly journey must also be rechecked against the new UK subscription-contract regime before its commencement; the UK Government announced on 9 August 2026 that the new subscription rules are intended to come into force in January 2027; commencement details and secondary rules must be rechecked against the position in force before recurring subscriptions open.

Lawful and authorised use
RigWave is for lawful setup, measurement, audio/streaming assistance and consent-respecting communication. It must not be used to infringe copyright, bypass DRM/licence checks, provider safeguards or security controls, gain unauthorised access, impersonate or harass people, send spam, conduct unlawful surveillance, scrape data outside the applicable rules, or evade consent/STOP/opt-out requirements. A technically possible action is not automatically a lawful or provider-permitted one.
Live Sharing and the V1-target Live Chat Hub must remain inside the relevant provider terms, authorised permissions, privacy/consent rules and moderation boundaries.

RigWave protects its software, entitlement evidence, brand and confidential implementation, but those protections do not remove statutory software rights, open-source rights or lawful security research that applicable law protects. Unofficial copies must not be presented as genuine RigWave releases, and credentials, signing material or paid entitlements must not be stolen or falsified.
Suspected vulnerabilities should be reported through the Vulnerability Disclosure route. The policy does not authorise destructive testing, privacy intrusion, credential theft or access to systems/data the researcher is not entitled to access.
No internal audit, hash, signature or anti-malware scan creates an absolute “virus-free”, “unhackable”, legal-compliance or ISO-certification claim. Public release remains blocked on the evidence and professional-review gates stated across these pages.

Lawful, responsible sharing is a condition of use
Before Live Share or connected-chat controls unlock, RigWave presents separate required tick boxes for: account and destination authority; copyright and other content rights; privacy and recipient permission; no bullying, harassment or harmful misuse; third-party app rules; checking before sending; and end-user responsibility. The accepted wording version and time are stored on that PC so the same checklist is not repeated on every launch. A material change to the requirements triggers a fresh acknowledgement.
The acknowledgement is not another person’s consent, does not grant access to an account or destination, and does not prove delivery. The operator must already have any permission, consent or lawful basis required for each recipient, purpose and channel; must check the actual message, link, account, audience and recipient; and must honour STOP, blocking, objections and withdrawal.
Never use RigWave for bullying, harassment, stalking, threats, discrimination, doxxing, impersonation, deception, spam, fraud, unlawful surveillance or exploitation.
