Refunds & cancellation
Simple plan rules, with UK statutory consumer rights preserved.
Monthly plan
Prepared for launch, not live yet. Standard Monthly is intended to be £11.99/month and auto-renew until cancelled. Cancelling stops future renewal and access continues to the end of the paid period, subject to the final approved terms.
Annual plan
Annual access is £99 for 12 months and does not auto-renew. A renewal reminder is intended 30 days before expiry. Access continues to the exact expiry date.
Founder plans
Prepared launch offer, not live yet. Founder Yearly is intended to be £79 for the first 12 months and does not auto-renew. If the customer later chooses another annual period, standard annual pricing is intended to apply subject to the final approved terms. Founder Monthly is intended to be £8.99/month for the first 12 paid months, then £11.99/month, and auto-renew until cancelled. Both Founder choices share the same 100-customer allocation. Allocation and refund handling must match the final approved checkout terms.
Digital software supply
Before immediate digital supply begins, checkout must obtain the customer’s express agreement to start the download/supply and their acknowledgement that they will lose the 14-day cancellation right for that digital content once supply begins, where the law provides. The choice must be active, not pre-ticked. The contract confirmation must include that information with the other required pre-contract details in a form the customer can keep. Statutory rights for faulty, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming digital content are not removed.
Model cancellation form
Use this form only where a statutory cancellation right still applies. It does not reduce rights that apply to faulty or non-conforming digital content.
To: Gary Woodward, sole trader, trading as RigWave Streaming Systems, 6 Adlington Drive, Northwich, Cheshire, CW9 8BP, United Kingdom; support@rigwavesystems.co.uk.
I/We hereby give notice that I/We cancel my/our contract for the supply of the following RigWave digital content/service: ____________________
Ordered on: __________ Customer name: ____________________
Customer address: ________________________________________________
Signature (only if this form is notified on paper): ____________________ Date: __________
This model form and the immediate-digital-supply wording remain subject to professional review before live checkout.
Recurring-plan readiness
Monthly plans are prepared as recurring subscriptions, but checkout is not live. The UK Government announced on 9 August 2026 that the new subscription-contract rules are intended to come into force in January 2027. Detailed commencement and secondary rules must still be checked against the law actually in force before recurring subscriptions open.
Before recurring subscriptions are offered, RigWave must check the rules actually in force at launch. The intended customer standard is simple: renewal information is clear, reminders are understandable, cancellation is straightforward, and a customer who signs up online can cancel online without unnecessary hurdles. Professional legal review remains required.
Refund direction
Refunds are intended where the law requires them and may also be considered for a genuine unresolved technical failure. There is no blanket promise of a change-of-mind refund after digital supply has begun where the law permits that position.
Failed monthly payment
For the prepared monthly plans, the intended failed-payment policy is a 7-day full-access grace period with reminders. If payment remains unresolved, access would be suspended while settings/licence history is preserved, subject to the final approved billing terms.
Refund or cancellation help
For refund, cancellation or licence-support questions, use support@rigwavesystems.co.uk. Before paid plans launch, the live cancellation route must be tested end to end and must not depend on a customer navigating hidden or unnecessary steps.
Your legal rights
These rules do not remove statutory rights. Final checkout and refund wording requires professional legal review before launch.
