Compatibility Check: see what changed after an update
Windows, OBS, drivers and DJ software can change after updates. RigWave is designed to record relevant versions and show which supported combinations need another check.
What you get
The V1 target checks for RigWave update availability and records versions of supported Windows, DJ, audio and streaming components used when recommendations are made. Major third-party changes can be marked as compatibility under verification until retested. The final update path still has to prove signed-package trust, downgrade protection, safe recovery and withdrawn-build handling before public release.
Why version information helps
If a setup worked last month and suddenly does not, something may simply have changed underneath it. Version evidence gives troubleshooting a starting point instead of asking you to guess which update quietly moved the goalposts.
How the intended workflow works
- RigWave identifies relevant versions.
- Known compatibility is shown where proven.
- Major third-party changes can be marked under verification.
- The V1 target checks update availability automatically; installation remains user-approved, and the final signed update path still has to pass release proof.
See the options before the update
A genuine current options screen. Exact update and compatibility states will be captured from the final Windows version rather than invented for the website.
Top tips
- Update from official sources.
- Read compatibility notes before a show-day update.
- Keep a known-good recovery plan for show-critical machines.

Find the real fault. Keep the safe path visible.
Explore scanning, audio routing and troubleshooting. Finding a problem is the first step; any supported fix still needs to be checked.
