Safe Apply: review changes and recovery options

See the change, understand the reason, back up what matters and keep a route back. Review the supported backup and restore options before applying a change.

FEATURE ART · EXPLAINS THE IDEA CALM character placing one selected module into a system while unrelated modules remain untouched.
Promotional feature art explains the Safe Apply idea: change the selected thing and leave unrelated settings alone.

What you get

Before a supported setting change, RigWave is designed to show the proposed action and reason, create a local backup where applicable, ask for approval and keep a restore route for the workflow.

Why review and backup matter

Blindly changing audio and streaming settings is how a five-minute tweak becomes a lost evening. A clear reason, backup and restore path makes it safer to try a recommendation and easier to recover if the result is worse.

Know what will change before you approve it. Use a verified restore option where the workflow supports one.

How the intended workflow works

  1. See the proposed change.
  2. Read why RigWave recommends it.
  3. Approve or cancel.
  4. Restore the previous supported settings if needed.

See the control before the change

A genuine Safety + Options screen. It shows that review and control are visible instead of buried, while final restore proof remains a Windows field check.

Top tips

  • Healthy settings should stay healthy.
  • If the intended route is unclear, resolve the uncertainty rather than forcing a fix.
  • Do not start the same change twice while RigWave is working.
