CONFIDENTIAL PRIVATE BETA • VERSION RIGWAVE-PRIVATE-BETA-NDA-V1-2026-10-01
Beta Confidentiality / NDA
This undertaking protects non-public RigWave builds, product information and intellectual property while still allowing you to report problems privately.
1. Confidential information
Confidential Information includes the private-beta installer and binaries, unpublished features, screenshots and recordings of non-public screens, candidate/download details, tester codes, non-public documentation, designs, workflows, methods, test results, defects, security information, roadmap information and other information that is marked confidential or that a reasonable tester would understand is non-public.
2. Your confidentiality obligations
You will use Confidential Information only for the private beta; keep it reasonably secure; not disclose it to another person without written permission; not upload it to public repositories, social media, forums, public AI/file-sharing services or malware-analysis services unless RigWave expressly authorises that disclosure; and promptly tell RigWave if you become aware of loss or unauthorised disclosure.
3. No redistribution or publication
Do not forward or mirror the installer, publish its download URL or checksum as a means of distribution, share your invitation, or publish screenshots, video, reviews, benchmarks, defect details or security findings from the private beta without written permission. Send vulnerability information through the private security-reporting route.
4. Exceptions
The confidentiality duty does not cover information you can show was already lawfully known to you without confidentiality duty, becomes public without breach by you, is lawfully received from another source without confidentiality duty, or is independently developed without use of RigWave Confidential Information.
5. Required disclosure
If law, a court or regulator requires disclosure, you may make the disclosure required. Where lawful and reasonably practicable, notify RigWave first so protective steps can be considered.
6. Return and deletion
When your beta participation ends or RigWave asks after a candidate is retired, stop using the retired build and delete copies you are not legally entitled or required to retain. This does not require deletion of evidence you must lawfully keep.
7. Duration
These confidentiality obligations continue for five years after your beta participation ends. For information that qualifies as a trade secret, confidentiality continues for as long as the information remains a trade secret under applicable law.
8. Intellectual property
No intellectual-property ownership is transferred by disclosure. All rights not expressly licensed by the Private Beta Terms/EULA are reserved.
